Looking to bring and retain youth from all kinds of sociodemographic backgrounds peeking their interest in stem, most specifically biology. There has been a rising need to understand Biodiversity. Creating a way to grease the wheels in which we can peak kids interest is a great start. This kit was created for libraries and homes alike which are looking to get their kids into science.
What I did
Created a Microsite, a trading card series, a technical poster, and an informative zene kit.
Results
The client was absolutely thrilled with what was now understood to be possible.
BIOSCOPE Microsite
As part of the larger impact and future goals of the bio-diversity project, this prototype interface holds curriculum, resources, products, and student outcomes for future sharing. The website will house the activities, and programs which have been created along with shareable resources for future library maker spaces to incorporate into their own programming.
Technical Poster
This technical poster is mean to guide the user using the Raspberry Pi. From assembly, to coding, to bringing it out in the wild to capture stunning images. This poster breaks down the complex process of setting up Raspberry Pi down into easy understandable steps.
