National Museum of American Speed
To modernize their brand while also keeping it’s overall messaging and target audience in mind. That being it’s racing enthusist’s, automobile historians, to families.
What I did
Preserved the hot wheels playful feel found in their original logo while moving away from a raster illustraiton style and towards a logo as timeless as their brand.
Results
A logo that keeps up with fast pace industry all while maintianing it’s classic hot rod old timey feel. The logo mimics a race car sharp and flowy conveying speed and invoking a feeling of velocity through sharp angles.

Movement is obviously necessary with a race car museum logo, however I wanted to also modernize it as much as possible while staying on their brand.
